Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of this writ application, the District Magistrate, Saharsa, i.e. the Licensing Authority has taken a decision on the application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license. Learned counsel further submits that against the order passed by the District Magistrate, Saharsa, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the appellate authority which is still pending. It is expected that the appellate authority will decide the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a reasonable

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ application with liberty to pursue his appeal.
