JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 01-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No.216 of 2016, a case under Sections 341/379/307/504 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is case and counter-case. Specific allegation against the petitioner is that he caused injury with rod at the right below the chin and chest of the informant. The doctor has found injuries at the aforesaid places viz. fracture of jaw. The petitioner is in custody since 31.08.2017.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer.

Considering the entire facts aforesaid as well as the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56476 of 2017 (3) dt.01-02-2018 P2/ period already undergone, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
