The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ/s, direction/s, order/s in the nature of quo-warranto, asking the private respondent No. 6, as how to he is occupying the public post of Divisional Manager, Patna Division, the office of the respondent/s, on contract basis for last 9 years, and even after expiry of contract period on dated 11.03.2022."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
