2. Dr. Anand Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University, informs that in light of information contained in paragraph no. 7 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondents no. 4 to 7, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

Paragraph no. 7 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondents no. 4 to 7 is reproduced hereinafter: "That the respondent university respectfully submits that it had calculated the net payable amount under the head of arrears of salary for the period from April, 1989 to December, 2011 as Rs. 07,49,400/- (Rupees Seven Lakh Forty Nine Thousand Four Hundred). The respondent University has sent a cheque bearing no. 509784 dated 30.01.2025 for an amount of Rs. 6,74,460/- (Rupees Six Lakh Seventy Four Thousand Fourt Hundred Sixty) and a cheque bearing no. 509785 dated 30.01.2025 for an amount of Rs. 74,940/- (Rupees Seventy Four Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty), a deduction Income Tax to the bank to issue Demand Drafts in favour of Principal, Ramadhin College, Sheikhpura so that payment of the said amount may be paid to the petitioner."

4. Considering the aforesaid information contained in paragraph no. 7 of the counter affidavit, I find that the substantial payment has been made to the petitioner. The petitioner, if so find, any amount is still required to be paid, he may represent before the appropriate authority.

5. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
