2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bangaha P.S. Case No. 90 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B)/22(b)/23(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 4.8 Kg. of ganja has been recovered from the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is in jail since 22.12.2023.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the huge recovery, I am not inclined to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28480 of 2024(2) dt.24-04-2024 2/2 grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.

8. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial.

9. If the trial is delayed, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
