The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No.161 of 2016 registered under Sections 341, 323 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that in the night of 27/28.03.2016, the petitioner reached at the Varamdah of the informant and started sprinkling petrol on his mosquito net. When the informant raised alarm, the neighbour rushed there and the petitioner was caught, who tried to set the informant on fire but the match stick did not lit.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, in fact, due to dirty village politics, the petitioner has
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27777 of 2016 (2) dt.13-07-2016 2/2 been falsely implicated in this case and he is in custody since 29.03.2016. Further submission is that it would appear from the F.I.R. that no injury was caused by this petitioner to the informant or others.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura, in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No.161 of 2016. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U T
