Petitioner is in custody in connection with Siwaipatti P.S. Case No. 06 of 2020 for the offence under sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30, 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case total 146.880 liters of foreign liquor was seized.

The petitioner is in custody since 1.2.2020.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody since 1.2.2020, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner,

No.19280 of 2020(3) dt.03-06-2020 2/2 named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge,Excise Act, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Siwaipatti P.S. Case No. 06 of 2020.subject to the condition that on release the petitioner has to render his service for a period of two months as volunteer in Covid-19 hospital and he is required to report to the district Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner.
