The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For issuance of an appropriate order/ orders/ direction/ directions/ writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to produce merit list of the petitioner in Constable Recruitment 2014 conducted by the Central Selection Board of Constable, Bihar, Patna, whereby and whereunder the petitioner has successfully completed all the test including physical test. Therefore, after issuing merit list, the respondents should be directed to appoint the petitioner on the post of

Patna High Court CWJC No.10680 of 2015(2) dt.18-08-2023 2/2 Constable in Bihar Police Force."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent- Central Selection Board of Constable Recruitment, Patna submits that the petitioner has failed to obtain the qualifying marks, hence he has not been selected, thus, there is no merit in the present writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if that be the matter, the present writ petition be disposed off. 4.
