The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 387, 504/506 of the Indian Penal Code and 66 of I.T. Act.

Allegedly, the petitioner telephoned the informant and asked him that he is Gang of Narhat. It is also alleged that the petitioner asked the informant to withdraw the case lodged against one Praduman Kumar.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 08-12-2018. Charge sheet has already been submitted. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. As per allegation,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17985 of 2019(5) dt.01-08-2019 2/2 reason for demand of ransom is said to be a case, instituted by the informant against one Praduman Kumar. An affidavit has been filed on behalf of the petitioner wherein it has been stated that no case has been instituted by the informant against Praduman Kumar. Hence the motive alleged, itself is false. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-V, Nawada in connection with Narhat P.S. Case No. 318 of 2018.
