The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 6228 of 2017, arising out of Danapur P.S. Case No. 649 of 2017 dated 18.09.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(A), 32(ii), 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the possession of four of the accused persons, 225 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor was recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 19.09.2017 and does not bear any criminal antecedents.

Taking into account the fact that one of the coaccused persons, as has been stated at the bar, has been granted bail, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56726 of 2017 (2) dt.30-11-2017 In the facts and circumstances, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additonal Sessions Judge-VIII-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 6228 of 2017, arising out of Danapur P.S. Case No. 649 of 2017.
