The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 494 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code and under sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, referring to the mediator's report dated 28.6.2022, submits that the parties have reached an agreement made on 28.6.2022 on the terms and conditions mentioned in the memorandum of agreement. Learned counsel appearing for the opposite party no.2 accepts the aforesaid position.
