The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Digha P.S. Case No. 251 of 2018 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was twice rejected by order dated 27.03.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 75700 of 2018 and vide order dated 1.9.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 84596 of 2019.

In compliance of the order dated 4.8.2022, a status report has been received by which it appears that trial will be concluded within a period of five months.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18710 of 2022(6) dt.17-04-2023 2/2 No fresh ground is made out for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is rejected.

The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within the stipulated period as asserted in the status report failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
