JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "A) To issue a writ in the nature of certiorari setting aside the order dated 10.03.2023 (Annexure 5) passed by the District Magistrate, Supaul (Respondent no-4) in Anganwari Appeal Case no- 31/2021 and also order dated 16.11.2019 (Annexure 2) passed by the District Programme Officer (ICDS),

Patna High Court CWJC No.5594 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 Supaul (Respondent no-5) in Anganwari Appeal Case no- 87/2018 whereby and whereunder the claim of Petitioner for selection on the post of Anganwari Sevika was not allowed.

B) To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing and commanding the Respondents to appoint the Petitioner on the post of Anganwari Sevika."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a civil suit before the learned civil court of competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
