2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karpi P.S. Case No. 287 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 308(3), 308(4), 326(f), 324(6), 111(5), 3(5) of the BNS, 2023.

3. Though, the allegation is of demand of extortion but during investigation, it has come that the petitioner used to give shelter to moaists.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 15.12.2024 and it has been submitted on his behalf that only one case bearing Khirimore P.S. Case No. 89 of 2019 is registered against him.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18146 of 2025(3) dt.12-05-2025 2/3 is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Arwal/concerned Court below in connection with Karpi Police Station Case No. 287 of 2024, subject to the condition that the bailors should be close relative of the petitioner.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Kurtha Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.

8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner, after being released on bail is directed to co-operate in the trial either by appearing personally or through his lawyer in the trial Court on each and every date fixed by the trial Court. Non-compliance of the condition will result in cancellation of the bail bonds of the petitioner.

9. As the petitioner claims that he has only one criminal case pending against him except the present case, the Court below, before accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner is

If the petitioner is found to be involved in any other case except the present case and Khirimore P.S. Case No. 89 of 2019 then the bail bonds of the petitioner shall not be accepted.
