2. The petitioner is in custody since 06.02.2020 in connection with Case No. C2/100/2020 for the alleged offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 (as amended in 2018).

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with recovery of 116.700 litres of Nepali Saufi wine. The petitioner denies recovery of the said goods from his physical or conscious possession. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Learned APP appears and has been heard.

5. Be that as it may and having regard to the period of

No.16554 of 2020(3) dt.25-06-2020 2/2 custody already suffered since 06.02.2020, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Case No. C2/100/2020, if he is not otherwise required in any other case.
