The petitioner is in custody in connection with Tariyani Chapra P.S.Case No.2 of 2017 registered for an offence under Sections 307 and other ancillary Sections of the IPC. The allegation is that this petitioner on 01.08.2017 attempted to commit rape on the informant. The informant raised alarm whereupon her family members came and apprehended the petitioner but he anyhow managed to escape from the place of occurrence.

It has been submitted that both the parties are resident of same place and on account of quarrel between the family members of both sides, the present case has been lodged. There is also a counter case bearing Tarayani P.S.Case No.01 of 2017 lodged by

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62932 of 2017 (2) dt.10-01-2018 2/2 the father of this petitioner against the informant party. The case was lodged one day before the institution of present case. The petitioner is in custody since 17.08.2017 having clean antecedent. Learned APP opposed the submissions.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for bail is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM, Sheohar in connection with Tariyani Chapra P.S.Case No.2 of 2017.
