The petitioner, who is in custody since 03.02.2020 and is a person of clean antecedents, seeks bail in connection with Amnour P. S. Case No. 71 of 2019 dated 25.03.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleges to have been assaulted by the petitioner and others. No reason for the assault has been stated in the F.I.R.

It further appears from the injury report that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16549 of 2020(2) dt.02-06-2020 2/2 the victim / informant has received one lacerated wound on his head of small dimension and that injury was found to be skin deep.

Apart from this, it has further been urged that for an occurrence which took place on 21.03.2019 at 05.30 P.M., the F.I.R. was lodged after four days on 25.03.2019 without any plausible explanation. Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner and the period of custody, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial MagistrateII, Saran, Chapra in connection with Amnour P. S. Case No. 71 of 2019.
