Petitioner is in custody in connection with Gaurichak P.S. case No. 149 of 2017 for the offence under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement of coaccused Promod Kewat @ Rahul Kumar. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that similarly circumstanced other co-accused namely, Pramod Kewat @ Rahul Kumar @ Pramod Kumar @ Rahul Kumar has been granted bail by a coordinate bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 5099 of 2018 vide order dated 30.1.2018. Considering the aforesaid, let the petitioner, named
