Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8/20(b), (II) (B), 22, 25, 29 N.D.P.S. Act.

Huge quantity of Ganja was being unloaded from a truck to a tempo. The drivers of the truck were arrested at the spot and they disclosed that Ganja was of this petitioner who had fled away from the place. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is in custody since 26.07.2017. Investigation is already complete now and there is no other material save and except stated above against the petitioner. Moreover, the petitioner has got no criminal

Considering the facts that the police did not take any pain to verify whether the Ganja was of the petitioner or not nor any further material came to substantiate the allegation against the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kalayanpur Police Station Case No.34 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
