2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Bahera P.S. Case No. 456 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 341, 323, 447, 384, 386, 379, 504, 308, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, 4-5 unknown persons having come at the medicine shop of the informant, started abusing and assaulting him. It is further alleged that the accused persons demanded a ransom Rs. 2 lacs and they threatened of dire consequences on failure to comply.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23758 of 2024(3) dt.08-07-2024 2/2 this case. He has further submitted that the FIR itself shows that there was rivalry between the parties relating to Panchayat election. There is case and counter case. The petitioner is under custody since 19.01.2024.

5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Benipur (Darbhanga) in connection with Bahera P.S. Case No. 456 of 2023, subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
