JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 29-04-2019 The appeal preferred by the petitioner before the District Magistrate, Chapra against the order of the District Programme Officer, Chapra dated 21.02.2018 in Anganbari Case No. 1 of 2016 is pending for about a year. There is no justification for not disposing off the appeal.

Patna High Court CWJC No.7172 of 2019(2) dt.29-04-2019 2/2 Without going into the merits of the case and expressing extreme displeasure, this Court directs the District Magistrate, Saran, Chapra (respondent No. 5) to dispose off the appeal preferred by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

In order to facilitate the disposal of the appeal within the time so stipulated, the petitioner is directed to prefer a fresh appeal along with a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from today.

Needless to state that the District Magistrate shall pass orders after hearing all the concerned persons viz. the petitioner and other stakeholders. Any lackadaisical approach in the matter would be seriously viewed.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
