The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No.32 of 2016, arising out of Kotwali P.S. Case No. 270 of 2016, a case under Sections 420/465/467/468/471/120B of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Vigilance-I, Patna.
This is a second attempt of the petitioner. Earlier prayer was refused on 15.05.2017.
It appears that in the matter of co-accused Harihar Nath Jha and Visheshwar Prasad Yadav, a coordinate Bench of this Court had refused the prayer for bail on 07.02.2018 and had
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62006 of 2017 (4) dt.11-04-2018 P2/ directed the trial to be expedited and liberty was allowed to the petitioners of that case to renew the prayer, if no step is taken for disposal of the aforesaid case, within a period of four months. The same condition would be applicable against the petitioner also. With the aforesaid observation, this application stands disposed of.
