The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that he took charge in the year 2012 but the charge of the folders / files of earlier appointment of Panchayat Shikshak was never given to him by the previous Panchayat Secretary which would be evident from Annexure 2 and 3, i.e, the letters were written to them for submitting the said documents.

No.26331 of 2016 (2) dt.05-07-2016 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Devendra Sharma @ Devendra Kumar be released on bail in the event of arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today in Ghosi P.S. Case No. 88 of 2016, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
