Petitioner is in jail custody since 19.11.2019 in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 121 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Section 376/511 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8, 18 of POCSO Act, 2012. Petitioner is said to have made attempt to sexually assault a ten year old girl. The victim has supported the prosecution case in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. The prosecution witnesses also supported the above stated fact. Therefore, in my view, it is not a fit case for grant of bail to petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20765 of 2020(4) dt.04-11-2020 2/2 rejected.

However, the concerned court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same as early as possible.
