That this is an application praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction for setting aside the order dated 09.01.2014 passed by learned Chief State Information Commissioner in Case No. 88123 of 2012-13, whereby the case of the petitioner has been disposed off on the ground that the

It is further prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to provide information sought by the petitioner under Right to Information Act vide his application dated 09.10.2012."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be granted liberty to take recourse to such alternative remedies, as are available under the law, for redressal of his subsisting grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
