2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 876 of 2022 arising out of Kudhani (Turki O.P.) P.S. Case No. 297 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 363 and 365/34 of IPC and Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per allegation, the marriage of daughter of the informant was solemnized with the petitioner in the year 2015. After marriage, the petitioner and other co-accused persons started inflicting atrocities upon the victim, as she was not giving birth to a child. The accused persons also snatched her mobile set and demanded Rs. 1 lakh cash and gold chain as dowry otherwise, she

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The case was lodged after 7 years of the marriage and it was the reason that Section 304(B) of the IPC was not added. It has further been submitted that the allegations are contradictory. The petitioner is under custody since 31.10.2023.

5. A report regarding stage of trial was called for from the court below. The learned Trial Court has reported that the warrants were issued against the witnesses and he sought for six months time for concluding the trial.

6. It is expected that the trial shall be concluded within a period of six months, failing which the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself.

7. With these observations, the present criminal miscellaneous petition is disposed of.
