Instant prosecution has been along with under Section 366, 418 of the IPC 27(b)(ii) of the case of the Drugs And Cosmetic Act on account of seizure of cough syrup having basic ingredients of codeine.

Petitioner happens to be under custody since 14.06.2018.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner Jilani Mikrani @ Jilani Mitrani is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J., 1st, Sitamarhi in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 115/2018.

Because of the fact that petitioner happens to be

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53358 of 2018 (2) dt.12-09-2018 foreign national on account thereof, the learned lower court is directed to see that the bailor who stood on behalf of petitioner as a surety should be a sound, reputed person as well as identity should also be properly verified so that presence of petitioner should be during course of trial.
