Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 461, 379, 427, 411, 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

The name of petitioner came in this case on the basis of images caught by CCTV camera. Later on, petitioner was arrested and confessed his guilt leading to recovery of stolen battery from the house of co-accused, Tuntun Yadav. Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that coaccused, Tuntun Yadav has already been granted privilege of bail whereas petitioner is in jail custody since 11.01.2016. No doubt, petitioner carries criminal antecedent but

No.27596 of 2016 (3) dt.17-09-2016 2/2 considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 17 of 2016.
