The petitioner seeks bail in Naya Ram Nagar P.S. Case No. 144 of 2005 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 144, 147, 448, 341, 323, 325, 307, and 353 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant is the Sub Inspector of Police who has in his complaint has stated that on secret information he arrested Ranjan Yadav with arms and ammunitions and brought him to the police station. Thereafter he further received information that petitioner and his wife and other 10 to 15 persons assembled in the house of Suresh Paswan and assaulted him for the reason that on his information Ranjan Yadav and his

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.476 of 2018(2) dt.18-01-2018 2/2 associates were arrested, and assaulted him by butt of the revolver causing injury on his forehead. Injury report has been enclosed as Annexure-2 in which all the injuries have been said to be simple and injury caused on the forehead is lacerated wound which is simple in nature. It has been submitted that petitioner is in custody since, 22.07.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Munger in connection with Naya Ram Nagar P.S. Case No. 144 of 2005 (S.C. Case No. 839 of 2010).
