11-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.
Petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with Katoria P.S. Case No. 173 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner allegedly had a fight over taking water from a government hand-pump. There is a case and counter case. Allegation against the petitioner is that he has assaulted the informant from the opposite side of Kudal and caused injury near her mouth.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.63719 of 2017 (2) dt.11-01-2018 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and materials on record, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate - 1st, Banka, in connection with Katoria P.S. Case No. 173/2017, subject to condition as laid down under Section 437(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
