13-03-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor as well as Sri Ravindra Kumar, learned counsel, who has voluntarily appeared on behalf of informant. The petitioner, who is husband of informant/opposite party no. 2, apprehending his arrest in Koilwar P.S. Case No. 108 of 2014 registered for the offence under Sections 498(A), 494, 341, 323, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

At the very outset, Sri Vibhuti Ranjan Sonvadra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to keep the opposite party no. 2 respectfully as wife,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40185 of 2014 (2) dt.13-03-2015 2/2 however; learned counsel for the informant, while opposing the prayer for anticipatory bail, submits that the petitioner has already solemnized second marriage and as such, there is no question for keeping opposite party no. 2 as wife.

In view of the aforesaid fact, I do not find any ground to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail. The petition stands dismissed.
