The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Cheriya Bariyarpur P.S. Case No. 184/2016 dated 14.11.2016 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal. The petitioner has been named in the F.I.R. as having been identified by the informant in the light of the motorcycle, which was snatched from him. The petitioner and two others are alleged to have taken away the motorcycle from the informant. The stolen motorcycle was later recovered from the possession of one Mantosh, who has been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 05.07.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 23958/2017.

The petitioner is in custody since 11.09.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55576 of 2017 (2) dt.30-11-2017 2/2 Taking into account the period of custody of the petitioner and the fact that he has not been made accused in any other case uptill now apart from the present case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

The petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Manjhaul in connection with Cheraiya Bariyarpur P.S. Case No. 184/2016.
