ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 24-06-2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced a Demand Draft of Rs. 20 lacs. The father of the Opposite Party no. 2 receives the same and signs in the margin of the order sheet in token of receipt of the same.
It is admitted that entire 40 lacs which was agreed upon between Harendra Kumar Sinha, father of the girl and Gajendra Kumar Srivastava, father of the husband, has been given to the Opposite Party no. 2/ her father.
A list of articles agreed upon between the parties which are to be returned is kept on record. It is understood there will be no
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41124 of 2014 dt.24-06-2016 2/2 further claims by any party in any regard.
The petitioner shall deposit the aforesaid articles in the Family Court within three weeks where Matrimonial Divorce Case No. 655M of 2012 is pending.
The parties are also directed to file a petition in the Court below under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act within the aforesaid period to dissolve the marriage in view of the final settlement.
The maintenance case filed by the Opposite Party no. 2 shall stand dropped on account of the settlement. The application stands disposed off.
