The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. For a direction to quash the punishment order dated 23.5.2009 [Annexure-9] passed by the Commandant, Bihar Military Police13, Darbhanga through Letter No 286 [Go] whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been awarded the stoppage of next increment of six month which is equivalent to one Black Mark punishment at the
Patna High Court CWJC No.17673 of 2014(2) dt.27-07-2023 2/2 conclusion of Departmental Proceeding 1 of 2008 initiated against the petitioner and further for consequential benefits allowing from the quashing of order of Departmental Proceeding No 1 of 2008."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities in case of any subsisting grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
