The writ application has been filed in the nature of PIL, seeking a direction for removal of encroachment from a land as described in paragraph-1 of this writ application, as according to the petitioner, the said land has been recorded as river in Khatiyan. From the pleadings on record, it appears that the petitioner is a villager of village Dukhiya and he, too, has his own interest in the village.

Patna High Court CWJC No.17769 of 2014 (2) dt.11-09-2015 On considering the matter in its entirety, we find that this writ application cannot be entertained in the nature of public interest litigation and, is accordingly, dismissed.
