The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "For a direction to quash the punishment order dated 21.11.2008 passed by the Commandant, Bihar Military Police-13, Darbhanga through Letter No.462 (Go) whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been awarded the two Black-Mark punishment and suspension period has been adjusted into the half unearned leave of the conclusion of departmental proceeding no.25 of 2007 initiated

Patna High Court CWJC No.16916 of 2014(2) dt.26-07-2023 2/2 against the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
