Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354B, 341, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/8 of the of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012.
Allegation against the petitioner is of commission of sexual assault against the minor daughter of the informant. Petitioner is in custody since 23.06.2017.
Report of the learned trial Judge would reveal that prosecution evidence is already going on. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Mahila Police Station Case No. 88 of 2017 pending in the court of learned
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1348 of 2018 (3) dt.15-03-2018 2/2 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Nalanda at Bihar Sharif.
Hence, prayer for bail is refused.
The learned trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order without allowing any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. (Birendra Kumar, J) Kundan/- U T
