Since compensation had not been settled in favour of the private-respondent at the time of death of his father, who died due to electrocution on 31.08.2011 and since the policy had undergone a change and the amount of compensation, which is payable now is 2,00,000/- (two lacs) from 1,00,000/- (one lac),

Patna High Court LPA No.1401 of 2016(6) dt.20-11-2017 2/2 the compensation available at the time of adjudication will be be the guiding principle. It is in this background that the Learned Single Judge gave a direction for compensation of Rs. 2,00,000/- (two lacs), which cannot be said to be erroneous. Appeal has no merit.
