JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-08-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being husband of the daughter of the informant is languishing in custody since 27.5.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after twelve years of marriage. The dead body of the daughter of the informant was recovered from the well with injuries. There is no eye witness to the occurrence and the victim accidentally fell into the well and subsequently she died due to drowning.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that admittedly there is no eye witness to the occurrence and the

It is submitted by the learned APP that the victim was recovered from the well with several injuries. More over, the petitioner did not make any effort to lodge any case when his wife went missing.

Considering the thrust of accusation against the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 151 of 2015 pending in the court of learned SDJM, Jamui. This application is, accordingly, dismissed. However, let the trial be expedited.
