The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No.136 of 2015 for allegedly having committed the offence under Section 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the victim girl in her statement under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. has stated the name of one Devendra Pandey with whom she had gone away. In her statement, there is no mention of the present petitioner's name.

Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances and that the petitioner has no criminal
