Petitioner is in custody in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No. 269 of 2019 for the offence under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner was involved in snatching of Rs. 74,024/- and mobile phone from the informant Mithlesh Kumar Sah.

The petitioner was not named in the FIR. The case was registered against unknown and in this case there is recovery of one Vivo mobile.

The petitioner is in custody since 28.1.2020. Considering the period of custody, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named

No.18928 of 2020(4) dt.22-02-2021 2/2 above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1, Katihar, in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No. 269 of 2019 subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit Rs. 25000/- cash in the court below and the amount of Rs.25000/- cash deposited by the petitioner shall abide by final outcome of the pending criminal case.
