The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application on behalf of above named petitioner for issuance appropriate writ(s)/ order (s)/direction quashing of vide Letter No. 2-11011/15/2020- FF-CZ (B) dated 06.03.2023 issued by the Under Secretary to Government of India by which direction has been issued to the Assistant General

Patna High Court CWJC No.5547 of 2023(3) dt.22-08-2023 2/2 Manager, Central Bank of India, M.G. Road Hutatma Chowk Fort, Mumbai for suspension of Freedom Fighter Pension of petitioner w.e.f.

06.03.2023 (Annexure-14).

Further direction has been issued to Respondents to initiate the Dependent Family Pension to the petitioner.

And or any other reliefs as per the fact and circumstance of the case."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
