2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Mashrak P.S. Case No. 484 of 2020 dated 09.09.2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 499, 500, 354(C) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66(D) of the I.T. Act.

3. As per the allegation, the petitioner developed friendship with the sister of the informant and he stated himself to be of a particular caste and expressed his desire to perform marriage with the sister of the informant. The petitioner started talking to the sister of the informant as well as the family members of the informant and also came to house of parents of the informant twenty days back. No.23268 of 2026(4) dt.17-06-2026 2/3 was found that the petitioner belonged to some other caste and not of the caste, which he had told earlier, while he was married from before and had a child aged 6 years. It has further been alleged that the petitioner from various mobile numbers created fake facebook Id in the name of the sister of the informant and started making wrong and derogatory posts, due to which the image of the informant and his family members got tarnished in the society.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it is a case of impersonation and no illegal benefit has been derived, pursuant to the alleged impersonation. It has further been submitted that there is no material on record to suggest that any facebook Id was created and any derogatory posts were made on the social media. It has further been submitted that no alleged misbehavior has been done by the petitioner either to the informant or to her sister. It has further been submitted that petitioner has been made accused in one another case, but not of similar nature and he is on bail in that case. It has further been submitted that petitioner is in judicial custody since 17.01.2026. It has further been submitted that charge-sheet has been filed in this case and there is no allegation of tampering.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently

6. Heard the parties and perused the records.

7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner above-named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.,VII, Saran in connection with Mashrak P.S. Case No.484 of 2020.

8. The application stands allowed.
