The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 61 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding the petitioner having engaged in scuffle while being in an inebriated condition. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that though the petitioner is having a fair antecedent, but he is an accused in one case in which he is on bail. The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 04.02.2019.
