Petitioners being the parents of the husband of the informant are languishing in custody since 15.03.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Accusation is of killing the informant by causing burn injury within one year of the marriage. Specific case of the informant is that on refusal to fulfill the dowry demand of motorcycle, the accused persons including the petitioners poured kerosene oil and lit the fire. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31984 of 2016 (3) dt.17-10-2016 lodged delayed and victim was provided medical assistance at the behest of the petitioners.

Considering the nature of accusation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners in connection with Kangali Police Station Case No. 50 of 2015, pending in the court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. Let, the trial be expedited.
