Imteyaz Ahmad, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AC to SC 4 for the State.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to make correction in paragraph no. 22 of the writ petition with regard to the number of the appeal filed by him before the District Magistrate, Darbhanga. Permission granted. The same be done during the course of the day.

3. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following relief:

"That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, for setting aside the order dated 27.11.2018 as contained in Memo No.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6551 of 2019 dt.30-05-2019 2/2 835 dated 30-11.2018 passed by the learned SubDivisional Officer, Sadar, Darbhanga by which he cancelled the P.D.S. licence of the petitioner being license no. 25/2018."

4. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that PDS Appeal No. 189 of 2018 filed by him before the respondent no. 2, which is still pending, be directed to be disposed off.

5. Learned counsel for the State submitted that if the same has not been done, it shall be disposed off expeditiously.

6. In the aforesaid background, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to dispose off PDS Appeal No. 189 of 2018, if still pending, expeditiously and latest within a period of two months from the date of production of a copy of this order before him, in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
