The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 307, 302, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

In pursuance to the order dated 20.04.2022, status report of trial in connection with Ara Muffasil P.S. Case No. 68 of 2020 has been received and kept at Flag-R, in which it is reported that charges were framed against accused and summons were issued against prosecution witness. Till date five prosecution witnesses including informant and Medical Officer has been examined in this case. At present, this case is pending for evidence of remaining prosecution evidence. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that out of 8 witnesses, three have been examined.

Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19457 of 2022(3) dt.18-05-2022 2/2 inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Ara Muffasil P.S. Case No. 68 of 2020 pending before the court of the learned A.C.J.M.-VII, Bhojpur at Ara.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of six months on day to day basis. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) devendra/- U T
