Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is no eye-witness of the occurrence of murder of the father of the informant. Suspicion is against coaccused Sagar Ram that he along with his criminal associates has committed the murder as he was demanding ransom from the deceased.

Submission is that there is no substantial material against the petitioner who is in custody since 24.07.2017. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.336 of 2018 (3) dt.20-02-2018 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bettiah Town Police Station Case No. 543 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
