Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with C2- Case No.548 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act,2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 20.400 litres of illicit Nepali Saufi wine from the bicycle of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no recovery has been affected from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in jail custody since 30.09.2017.

Considering the nature of accusation, the period of

Sessions Judge-II-Cum- Special Judge (Excise), Sitamarhi, in C2- Case No.548 of 2017.
