Petitioner seeks bail in Muffasil P.S. Case No.600 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 20(a) of the NDPS Act and Sections 25(1-B)a, 26 of the Arms Act. It is alleged that one country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from possession of the petitioner. It is further alleged that 200 gr. Ganja has also been recovered from the vehicle on which this petitioner along with driver was found. Petitioner is in custody since 08.10.2018.
Keeping in view the period of custody, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21486 of 2019(2) dt.05-04-2019 2/2 Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the District & Sessions Judge, Begusarai, in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No.600 of 2018 (NDPS Case No.22 of 2018), subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner. Further, (i) the petitioner will remain present on each and every date of trial, (ii) His absence on two consecutive date(s) without any reasonable cause will make his bail bond liable to be cancelled, and (iii) the petitioner will not intimidate the witnesses in any way and will not hamper the trial.
